Family History:
Rodney’s mother and father separated in 2020 and his mum moved far away, eventually remarried and has children with her new husband. Rodney lived alone with his father, Timothy, until 2022 when Timothy died in a road accident. At that time Rodney’s Grandma, Allen, took him to live with her. She is a peasant farmer without her own land and is growing older and unable to support Rodney’s education needs. Allen also cares for another child.
