Family History:
Shakib’s father was a soldier in the army and lost his life during a war in 2013 when Shakib was one year old. Shakib’s mother brought him to her mother, Peace, at that point and then left. Peace, Shakib’s grandmother, claims she has never heard from his Mom since that day. Peace does not know whether her daughter is still alive or not. Shakib has never met his Mum even once. He was too young to remember her. Peace, his grandmother, is a farmer and has raised him single handedly. However, now she is older and weaker and cannot manage the manual labor for as long. So Shakib literally pays his own school fees by selling his harvests from the crops he plants on his grandmother’s property.
